  Richard, I did not say that this was the answer to a pitch lap. This is my
own experiment, and I washed
and cleaned the felt before I even attempted to place it on the surface of
my mirror. There were no
footprints on the face and from what I could tell , no small children were
in the area when I purchased
these grit filled sand sheets......Come on Richard I didn't buy sandpaper
for God's sake..!!
         PS     I really did clean the stuff good..
