Hi Timur!

Ever neat. I'm 18 too, and volunteer for the same thing but here
in Canada. We do it a little different, but not by much. :)
TC>What exactly means EMT-Basic degree? Is there also something like an EMT-
>advanced degree?
EMT stands for Emergency Medical Technician. I don't know what
levels you have in Germany, so I can't draw any parallels for you. In
Ontario, EMT-B is roughly equivalent to an EMR, Emergency Medical Responder,
but the requirement up here to work an ambulance service (St. John
doesn't count) is currently an EMCA (Emergency Medical Care Assistant,
I think). There's EMT-B, EMT-I and EMT-A. I know B stands for
Basic, but I'm not sure about the I and the A... Intermediate and
Advanced makes sense, but I could be waaaay off the mark. :)

Sounds like you do the same sort of things I do around here. Are
you considering a career in emergency medicine, or content with St.
John? I don't know much about St. John in Germany, I wouldn't mind
hearing more.
