Hello all Cannuckers ....

   Well,  I wasn't too happy about the last election and the
defeat of the minority government of Mr. Harper,   but as
we've seen with this passed election, a wasted effort and
a cost to taxpayers, we're facing, yet again the defeat
of a minority government, and like before, other possible
happenings.

   I see in the media, some misleading reporting, in that
they think the majority of Canadians support Mr. Harper
by the return of a minority government, and they don't
like this idea, they say of someone the majority didn't
vote for being Prime Minister.

   CANADA is a Parliamentary system.   The ruling party
that determines who is Prime Minister, only rules by the
consent or grace of Parliament.    If there is a majority
this might not apply, unless the majority, joined by
the members of the party that are in power and giving
the sitting government "power" revolt and vote with
the opposition.

   Canadians do not vote for their leader...  even our
Canadian media doesn't see this.   Again we get our
Prime Minister by the grace of Parliament, and by their
power or majority, they can at anytime end it....thus
 
   : Proclaimation for an election day
   : Ask someone else or party to form a government
   : Keep the present situation and make it work.

    These are dark time for Canadians, and an election at
this time would drain money for helping us all.
  
    My first choice is to keep the present party in power
and by grace of parliament re-consider and vote confidence
rather then on December 8th.,2008 vote to dissolve parliament.
 
    I am not for this asking someone or accepting agreement
we have seen via the media of the dated union of the Liberals
NDP and BLOC to support the suggested Government headed by
Mr. Dion.     I say this, because in the past,  the BLOC
has insisted that they care only for Quebec.    They only
want one thing for Quebec and that is separation and the
end of CANADA, so having them assist in forming a ruling
government is not a good idea.
 
    I am sure, in October 2008 when the Governor-General
faced this same situation with a minority Government asking
for a Election Writ, she did consider all and any offers,
but for the numbers, and the obvious result.  She proclaimed
the election writ, thus the result in October 2008 we all
knew was coming.
 
    If we are in darkest times,   not a war, but enough
threats like that of the Depresssion Days, which did lead
to WW2..that our Governor General perhaps all partys
form a government under Mr. Harper with all party representation
in Government.
 
    The deals and all only last 2 years at best...and are not
solid.   Sorry
