Pretty close.  Tyson was getting his butt kicked a second time in a row and 
couldn't handle it.  The headbutting excuse was just that, an excuse.  He was 
looking for a way out.  This guy has gone from arguably the best heavyweight 
in history to arguably the most overrated heavyweight in history.

I wouldn't go that far, but certainly a lengthy suspension and heavy fine 
(perhaps his entire purse) is in order.
