In the past I have had my aluminisations done per ASTAM in France. The
oldest are several years old and show no sign of deterioration, despite
storing in a garage (covered of course). However, this is slow and
expensive and I am as well looking for another adress. I know someone had a
good adress in UK but can't get it back, will ask again.

Besides I seriously consider, at least temporarily, to silver my upcoming
mirrors, incl the 25", with a peacock labs kit. In this register: does
anyone know if an european company makes silvering kit of the kind of those
of Peacock?

PS: If I get fired from my job, I think that a good and reasonably cheap
aluminisation
service in continental Europe would be a niche in the market. Hmm,
interesting. Because, as Dominic said, it can be cheaper to ship to US and
back than to have it done here (for large pieces). Amazing!
