I like Halloween better than X-mas, actually. 'Cause, as an atheist, 
and I don't "do X-mas". Hey, I stand by my convictions. I ain't about to
celebrate religious holiday (Holy Day) like that.

I do realize that there is a religious origin to Halloween, but nowadays
the most wacked out religionists around are disdainful of the holiday 
so, just to be out of step with such creeps, I celebrate it. Not all 
THAT much...just a little. I scare kids (with my Texas Chainsaw Massacre
get-up) and then give them candy. 

Anyways, back to your initial extreme over-reaction... calm down!
