Gifshow has made advances since the version that came on the floppies with my
MM/1.  Mike Haaland has been busy.  The interlace and overscan modes come into
their own when displaying GIF files, that's for sure.

Since viewgif spends a considerable part of its time figuring out what palette
combinations to use to make up for not being able to display 256 colors on a
CoCo 3, just porting to the MM/1, which *can* display 256 colors at a time,
will automatically speed it up (since one can cut out the code that does that)!
