| subject: | 59% Voters voted... |
Hello Alan....
-=> Quoting Alan Ianson to Peter Coggon <=-
AI> Hello PETER,
PC> 59 % of the voters of Canada didn't vote, and they
PC> have a point. I know because I didn't vote.
AI> I didn't vote either, I meant too I just couldn't decide who to vote
AI> for.
Usually when people are trying to win your vote or that of an
area, they either knock on doors, or they , at a reasonable time
arrange a time and place for the majority to appear at to hear '
them first speak giving the party platform and then what...and this
is important what they are interested in seeing...as well what they
will do for this area.
Only one candidate bothered to show up.
This candidate spoke about a private member's bill to put
FREE dental as part of the OHIP or Our national Medical plan.
The other one we got a notic about they in the local park to
make some "BIG" announcement, and it was long over by the
time i got this stuff...stuffed in the door.
No knock....nothing.
All I got on TV was the usual. Funny to see the same name
but in another party.
I developed this view of partys....Two at the top represent
the Big Business on Bay Street in Toronto. One of the other
gets in power to carry out the master's orders.
The others are wannabees that can not get to be candidates for
these two top partys and thus join these other flakes and
just split the vote.
PC> Outcome was the reason why ...no point
AI> That's basicly it I'd say..
AI> Ttyl :-),

YEP! After 59% in in some polls way less voted.... it looks like
a repeat and a wast of money which could have been spent on real things
of need.
If they wanted to...or if the Governor-General knew what she was doing
she could have asked any of the leaders of any of the political partys
to form a government....but we'll never know. Cannuckian.....eh?
"Rusty Mailbox" ???? I never knew my dog Rusty had one?
Thanks for the reply .... no matter hockey is back, and the choice
is now hockey or the gasbags in Ottawa .... If forced too...mmmm
well I'll pull the power plug...why suffer with both
See you next time Al ....
Regards Peter
... What do you mean? You actually read this tagline?!?
