subject: Question for Red Green Fa

# a similar show until about 1990. In 1991 the Red Green show was
# launched. I know at one point they had a wife on the show, heavy
# set disagreeable blond woman, and when they shifted away from that
# (or to that) it may have picked up the "New" title for a while.

Must be the shift away from it. Either that, or the wife just hasn't shown
up yet.  ;-)

# Sounds like with the end of the 2005 (15th year) series and episode
# number 300 they will be finished.
##[RMC=>MP]

That was the impression I got. Some of the characters seemed to be saying
goodbye, and the "where are they now" segment at the very end sure made it
seem like a finale.

# It was somewhat funny at first but gets to be a lot of almost the
# same thing over and over. I was amazed it lasted as long as it did.
##[RMC=>MP]

Well, here, it really got to be the same thing over and over again. For
the longest time, they kept repeating the same couple of seasons (early
2000's) over and over. I would always check to see if it was an episode I
had seen before, and eventually noticed that they'd finally moved on
to newer ones.

I am glad to see that they have finally started showing some of the prior to
the ones we were seeing. Now if we could only get the local PBS station to
start showing some older episodes of "Last of the Summer Wine"... ;-)
