I finally waded through the Wyld article. I have an updated version of the
G-sum and optimization available at:
http://users.rcn.com/rflrs/Gee_Wyld.htm
I'm a bit unconfident, as yet in the optimization, especially since I had
to change the modified G-sum correction to exactly the opposite direction
than expressed in the Wyld article and it appears to be rather slow; I
have allowed for only a single iteration at each operation, for now.
If one downloads it for local use, the associated Javascript file is also needed:
http://users.rcn.com/rflrs/Gee_Wyld.txt
(Don't get me started on how a McGatesware editor can only handle 32 kb on
a 350 Mb machine!;-)
Many thanks to Bob for helping me get the HM interface to work better.
Rick S.
P.S.: Cute name, don't you think? (I couldn't resist.)
