It dropped to zero here last night and several days over the next
week they predict lows down to -3 to -5c. I'm hoping they are
wrong about this but some weather services are saying we may get
up to 15cm of snow next Tuesday. We've gotten 4 or 5 cm a couple of
times this week and that usually melts during the day but by next
Tuesday the daytime highs are still supposed to be about -1c so it
won't be melting too fast..  Winter is definitely on the way..

After several years of water levels dropping in the Great Lakes it's
now actually up about 12cm higher than the long time averages, which
we haven't seen since about 1996. October is normally a wet month here,
averaging 15 days of rain, but we managed to get 23 days of rain this
time around and it's been raining or snowing almost every day so far
this November..  They are calling for a colder and snowier than average
winter as well, like last year which broke some 100 year records.
