Honestly? I would resurect the 77 if at all possible and use some of the
parts from the 84 in it.  They are different body styles, but with a
little ingenuity, you can make it work.  My '81 has parts from many
different years.  most of which I had to modify to make work.
The engine is mostly from a '77 Chevelle.  but...
