Hello Paul and Rob,
PH> Yep we're all metric here.
I wish I could say the same. I'm British but I live in
Illinois. I think I've adapted fairly well to life here but it bothered me
to see my daughter come home last week with homework set in inches, feet
and yards. There are so many important and useful things she could be
learning and they give her this?!

The first computer I ever programmed was probably a BBC
Model B that my primary school got as part of the Computer Literacy
Project. The first I ever owned personally was a ZX-81. My first modem
was a V.23 on an 8-bit ISA expansion card, which I later swapped for a V.22
Hayes Smartmodem. I liked that in part because I was able to use it with
my Atari ST.
