Ignoring that, though, you -can- get KotR in Disk Two. Just to be annoying, a 
friend of mine did. There's no reason you couldn't face Sephiroth the instant 
you hit Disk Three.
(GETTING to him would be difficult, but not impossible.)
Anyways, you know how it works -- "I got KotR! I win!" ...
