From: Gary Britt Yes you are right, climb on top isn't the best analogy. More correct would be to say that the entrepreneur builds the business both laterally and underneath himself until a profitable company organizational pyramid emerges. His risk is that he won't be successful and will have sacrificed money, time, and lots of hard work without the payoff his own salaried employees received.
