Jobs Americans Won't Do, Part DCCLXIX   [Mark Krikorian]

The indefatigable Norm Matloff, a computer science professor at UC Davis,
pointed me to this video of an immigration lawyer explaining to clients how
to pretend to look for American workers in such a way as to make sure they
don't actually find any (it's at about 7:55). The law firm may take the
video down once it gets some publicity, so here's the nut graf:

"    And our goal is clearly not to find a qualified and interested U.S.
worker. And you know in a sense that sounds funny, but it's what we're
trying to do here. We are complying with the law fully, but ah, our
objective is to get this person a green card, and get through the labor
certification process. So certainly we are not going to try to find a place
[at which to advertise the job] where the applicants are the most numerous.
We're going to try to find a place where we can comply with the law, and
hoping, and likely, not to find qualified and interested worker applicants.
 "

Hilarious:

"    The California Republican Party has decided no American is qualified to
take one of its most crucial positions — state deputy political director —
and has hired a Canadian for the job through a coveted H-1B visa, a program
favored by Silicon Valley tech firms that is under fire for displacing
skilled American workers."

Of course, given how incompetently the party has been run, foreign contract
labor couldn't do any worse.

Boy you can sure say that last sentence over and over again.  These old
incompetent dinosaurs running the GOP have no idea how deeply and clearly
the base is beginning to believe that its not just Bush that's incompetent
but the entire GOP leadership.  They have no clue yet that I no longer want
just Bush to shut up, but after Bush is gone I won't be happy until
everyone of these incompetent party leaders are dead or out of power. 
McConnell, McCain, Lott, Martinez, and the leadership in the House.  They
*ALL* have to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got an email yesterday from the RNC trying to whip up the GOP base over
Harry Reid's comments about Pace and Paetraeus.  I wrote them back "I
don't give a shit about Harry Reid....   immigration......  Bush
incompetent......
McConnell incompetent......will vote democrat till you old incompetent
dinosaurs are gone or dead..... (rest of reply went downhill and became
more angry and foul mouthed from there)  Closed with "You disgust
Me", and included my full name and address.
