Nothing other than what I wrote. Similar short sighted ideas.

And its this kind of thinking that keeps people poor. One of my clients is
a foreign permanent resident who speaks with an accent (his country of
origin is Iran). He is of only average intelligence, no college degrees,
and nothing but the shirt on his back. He's now a multi-millionaire who
built his entire fortune from selling vacuum cleaners door to door. That's
still his principal business. If he can do it, many many people can. They
just have to be willing to do what he did at first. Work 12 hours a day 7
days a week for little money, live in an apartment with no furniture at all
and keep pouring money and effort back into the business. People worried
about 40 hours and week and overtime aren't willing to defer gratification
and take the risks to become wealthy in this country and then they bitch as
though its somebody else's fault they aren't rich.

There are plenty of ways. See above. It just takes belief, courage, and
the willingness to delay gratification today for only a chance at big
rewards later.

Bullcrap see above story. He had NO MONEY and didn't have any friends or
relatives within 8000 miles or more.

It works for the few because only a few are willing to do what it takes to
make it work. The rest suffer from negative thinking and a lack of
commitment. An unwillingness to take risks and believe in themselves. An
unwillingness to delay gratification today for rewards later.

Its actually a recipe for creating greater prosperity for everyone,
including those who just want the job and 40 hours a week, compared to any
other system. All other systems lead to everyone being equally miserable
and equally poor.

Your bitching has been around since before Marx, and it hasn't made a
single union worker rich ever in any country yet.
