Oh and note, this is what was supposed to happen. Either you suck up that
income or inflation kicks in. So the fed spread rumors of an interest rate
cut then squashed those rumors when they didn't have the desired affect and
the government is using the price of oil to throttle the economy (along
with interest rates).
I mean this is all so obvious to me, they shut off all the small oil wells
around me (after running them for months) and then they claimed that
refining capacity was down by 20% due to maintenance at exactly the peak
time of year when everyone drags out the garden equipment and fills their
gas cans and summer vehicles. Get real, this is being manipulated in a very
precise and deliberate way to throttle the economy every time it begins to
heat.
And they keep reducing the price of gas just before it motivates too many
people to buy smaller cars. Like going from $3.49 to $2.76 per gal in 2
weeks happens because all the refineries that were down for maintenance
suddenly came back online the same week? More like they panicked after the
fuel costs started to cause inflation numbers came out.
