Basically following on from GT etc....US citizens should realize that were
they to be held spuriously/politically by a foreign gov, the authority of
the US in calling for their release is negligible.

The "you can't just arrest people & hold em for an indeterminate
time w/o charge" is no longer an argument the US can make.
