Just fix the freakin' subject line when replying. How hard is that? Though
judging by some of the stream-of-(un)consciousness crap in here at times,
it appears that no-one knows how to use the delete key anymore.

It appears to be a bug in Thunderbird 2.0, both the beta and 2.0.0.0, and
cross platform (Linux, Windows and Mac). It doesn't parse long (split over
two lines) header lines properly - when rejoining them it omits the space
between words. When there is only one word on the second line, it inserts a
blank line (a line containing a single space) in the header, between the
"Subject" and "References" lines. If the post is
replied to by another TB 2.0 user, the reply has the "Subject"
and "References" lines concatenated and a new
"References" line added.

I have no idea if there's a bug report open, I just analysed the headers.
