I simply think they should make a combined RoRo & Containership with a flat top.

It's a platform for it's contents & it's only real job is to go where
it's told & keep floating.

Containerize everything wot azn't got wings & a man in it, legs or wheels.

Buy a nice big cheap to operate commercial vessel & stop pretending
that speed matters in an age of 50 knot ssns & supersonic airborne
threats.
