I'm barely into the recovery of my MP3 collection, but I can say it's not
too bad so far. I'm optimistic that I can get most files back through a
combination of tools and work. So far I've recovered over 90% of my blues
folder. A little Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker, and Bonnie Raitt does
wonders to the ears. The Brazilian folder is completely trashed, however,
and I'm hoping I can get it back with the data recovery tool I'm using
(O&O Disk Recovery). The problem with the tool is that it recovers to
"Filexxxxx.mp3", which isn't optimal. I can rename the files
through MP3 tools, but it's going to be a long slow process.

I'm guessing I'll have most of it back to normal within a few months.
