A lot of members of the Conservative party said that Martin
was more of a Conservative than most of them were. It's hard
to tell why he was Liberal unless it just seemed at the time
to be the unbeatable party and his only shot at Prime Minister..

I mean, look at him.. He's a multi millionaire shipping magnate
with most of his income cleverly hidden offshore so that he doesn't
have to pay tax on it..    That just Screams 'Conservative'..    B)

To be honest, I didn't find him all that offensive but him
quitting as soon as he didn't get elected struck me as cowardly.
It seemed like he wanted the job more than he wanted to DO the job..
If he'd stayed on he may have won this past election..
