AI>In spite of the fact I am not a liberal I do like Paul Martin. I would have >been OK with giving him a chance as well. I haven't seen anything I would >"choose" in a while. A lot of members of the Conservative party said that Martin was more of a Conservative than most of them were. It's hard to tell why he was Liberal unless it just seemed at the time to be the unbeatable party and his only shot at Prime Minister.. I mean, look at him.. He's a multi millionaire shipping magnate with most of his income cleverly hidden offshore so that he doesn't have to pay tax on it.. That just Screams 'Conservative'.. B) To be honest, I didn't find him all that offensive but him quitting as soon as he didn't get elected struck me as cowardly. It seemed like he wanted the job more than he wanted to DO the job.. If he'd stayed on he may have won this past election.. --- * SLMR Rob * Pride is the lower classes substitution for class * * PDQWK 2.52 #17 --- GTMail 1.26* Origin: Capitol City Online * 502/875-8938 * cco.ath.cx (1:2320/105.0) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 34/999 120/228 123/500 140/1 222/2 226/0 249/303 250/306 SEEN-BY: 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/260 267 285 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 SEEN-BY: 2320/105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 2320/105 261/38 633/260 267 |
