From: "Jerry B. Hillman" To: Reply-To: "Jerry B. Hillman" Hi all, I think I deduced the cause of a consistant problem I have been having with the Foucault Test. I elaborate on it here and a possible fix with pictures. http://www.convertabarn.com/foucault_tester.htm Basically, I think the separation between the light souce and the KE is causing image displacement behind the KE when I am examining the edge of the mirror. Testing the edge of the mirror seems to make the KE side of the mirror disappear behind the KE at about the time it starts nulling the edge. Then again, I could be totally wrong.
