Why is it a contradiction?  Sony is doing so much better than Nintendo is 
ever doing.  They've said it numerous times on the news and for anyone who 
watches the computer channel.  Cutting prices only increases demand.   There 
are so many PSX games that I don't think any normal person can buy every 
single game.  Saturn is almost dead.  Nintendo will last about another year
