The angle of the wire is reduced by half.  It is not so much that you WILL
see vibrations, but more along the lines of, the chances for vibration is
increased.  Still, if your diagonal hub is reasonably sized, I would not
anticipate objectional vibration.  The other issue is to maintain exact
collimation.
