| subject: | Question for Red Green Fans |
I am a faithful watcher of the Red Green Show on PBS here in the USA. In the years that I have been watching, all of the episodes they have shown us here are from 2001-2005 or 2006. Recently, they showed what appeared to be the last episode of the show, where they sort of say good-bye. All of these shows have been billed as "The Red Green Show." A couple of weeks later, after a few reruns, they have started showing episodes from a season that I have not seen before. These shows feature "cartoon-like" opening credits that include a neon sign which says "The NEW Red Green Show." I am pretty sure that these episodes are actually older than the ones they were showing us before. However, there does not appear to be a copyright year listed in the closing credits. I am curious to know when the "New" show originally aired in Canada. I checked a couple of web sites and was only able to determine that the show was also known as "New" sometime during its long run. I thought there might be some Red Green fans here that would know when those shows originally aired. Thanks, and keep your stick on the ice! Mike P.S. I did consult redgreen.com, and determined that the episodes we are seeing here now are from Season 6. The episodes we were shown before that were from Season 15. Assuming that they didn't take any years off, I am assuming that Season 6 was circa 1995-97, but thought I would still ask anyway. ;-) ##MMR 2.61#. --- GTMail 1.26* Origin: Kentucky's Capitol City Online * 502/875-8938 (1:2320/105.0) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/300 34/999 90/1 106/1 120/228 123/500 134/10 140/1 222/2 SEEN-BY: 226/0 249/303 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 320/119 633/260 262 267 285 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 SEEN-BY: 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 2320/105 261/38 633/260 267 |
