PH>18 today and sunshine, in two days time we have snow to 300 meters

It's supposed to be a high of 23c tomorrow and a high of 9c on Sunday
so it's really bouncing around just now. Rain for 5 of the next 6 days
predicted and we had a very wet summer after one of the highest snow
accumulations in 100 years last winter - this area got about 430 cm
of snow, about 60% more than usual.

I've never heard too much about New Zealand other than it's supposed
to be quite beautiful with all the mountains and forests. Living where
I do we appreciate the outdoors as well. Lots of hiking and boating.
I also heard that NZ is more laid back than most of the rest of the
world, more old fashioned maybe ?  I suppose that may depend on where
you live there too..
