They usually didn't call.  They never called to remind us aboout things.  So 
if you missed a week even if it was a vaild excuse like going to a wedding or 
a funeral sometimes they would get really mad.   They never liked anyone 
missing a meeting or a campout.  Only favorites got away with things like 
that.
