I found a rather nasty problem with the C V3.2 libraries. The function
strtod(), which is called by atof(), which is called by scanf(), clobbers d6.
Now, that is not a big problem unless you happen to be using register variables
like I was. The only solutions are to not use regiter varibles or to patch the
movem instructions to save d6 also.
