JL> Stan Smith, when pressured, spilled this about Rigs:
SS> strobes..Right. So do you want a lot of strobes or

JL> Our emergency (basically the same as an ambulance) has eight flashing
JL> lights (as in conventional red-lensed lamps) on the box, two flashers on
JL> the grille, and a standard (and really old) 4-motor, 8-light lightbar.
JL> (*OLD* Code 3, I think) Our remaining rigs (pump, engine, tank, squad,
JL> etc) are all standard - a regular light bar on the roof (these ones are
JL> newer Force 4 lightbars, though), two flashers on the grille, and two
JL> rotating beacons on the top rear. These work fine for us. Hell, even my
JL> POV's DashLaser with nothing else is enough. What do you need 23 strobe

Yeah, really. The best mini-light bar I seen was a Force-4 and the best
full-sized light bar for vans/trucks is the umm, I forgot the name....it has
4 motors and two back-up lights and headlights....also it has left and right
alley lights...I forgot the name but that should be good enough.
BTW...does anyone out there hang out on the CB (Citizen's Band Radio)? If
so, there is some EMTs that hang out on channel 21 along with myself...I am
known as VeNoM on the CB...you can catch me during mostly the day...but
anyone out there have a 3pin mike and a base antenna for sale... and last
but not least does anyone know how long you have to be trained to go on calls
for EMTs?
