He did get snubbed.. it was pretty disgusting the way he wasn't given a vote
for athelete of the year and Johnson was given 1st place.  I guess the world
record in the 100 meters doesn't mean anything these days.
I'd like to hear someone try and justify THAT little oversight down at SI :)
