-> I don't mean to make this out to be a flame, but what are you people
-> doing with all these strobes? How does your electrical system stand up?
-> Our emergency (basically the same as an ambulance) has eight flashing
-> lights (as in conventional red-lensed lamps) on the box, two flashers on
-> the grille, and a standard (and really old) 4-motor, 8-light lightbar.
-> (*OLD* Code 3, I think) Our remaining rigs (pump, engine, tank, squad,
-> etc) are all standard - a regular light bar on the roof (these ones are
-> newer Force 4 lightbars, though), two flashers on the grille, and two
-> rotating beacons on the top rear. These work fine for us. Hell, even my
-> POV's DashLaser with nothing else is enough. What do you need 23 strobe
-> lights for?

Oh you are not flaming at all I guess.. non took any how.. Yes they have
electrical problems every now and then but there is no question about
seeing those rigs coming at you at night.. you can see those lights
bouncing off building before you even see the ambulances coming at you..
You refured to fire rigs.. shot we have some trucks in this county that
have full light bars on front with small light bars on both sides then
four strobe in the front grill and strobes on the side of the trucks
then have two small light bars on the back of the unit and two strobes
in the back of the unit.. talk about a christmas tree on wheels..
Ha Ha Ha..
