EUROCKOT's MOM Daily No. 13

Cosmodrome Plesetsk, June 20 (L-10):

The day started with a MOLNIYA launch in the morning (local time
00:00:37) which we could watch from an area close to our hotel. It
was an impressive event, in particula as the visibility was very
good.

Later during the day, coming back to work on our launch vehicle, the
last preparations for the encapsulation were performed. This included
final adjustment of the Upper Stage thermal covers, electrical checks
and the hoisting of the payload fairing halves into the encapsulation
provision. 

This provision uses one basic structure and all three elements Upper
Stage as well as the two fairing half shells can be moved very
precise via mechanical, wheel driven mechanism. Thus, encapsulation
will be performed very smooth without any risks, tomorrow.
