Looks like you have at least two from this country online now :-)

Yep we're all metric here. I've seen some TV coverage of the massive storms
and the disruptions caused. I'm not sure if we're in 1 in 100 year territory
anymore.

My first contact was with a TRS-80, then onto a ZX81, BBC Mirco B and so it
went. First modem was 1200 baud... how sad is that eh? ;-)

RM> That covers part of my question above. Do you get below freezing there in
RM> your winters?.. This is a bit of a cool spring and today will be a high

Not really, lows down to freezing but very rarely into the negatives. It
would normally be something like 3-8 degrees celcius in winter and 12-23 in
summer - on average.

I live in a part of the country that can see snowfall at sea level 1-4 days a
year. It's fun and having the odd day off work because of it keeps us locals
happy.

RM> We get a few summer days as high as 35c and a few winter nights closing
RM> in on -40c so we learn to adapt.. B)

Wow that's a temp swing I've never experienced.

 RM> Good chatting with you..

You too :-)
