Hello All!

i suppose i should had said mgetty ...

i am a relative beginner as far as serial comms and unix (freebsd) is
concerned, would one of you kind souls please take the time to step me through
the how-to of setting up a serial port and how to get a modem (data mode) so
that i can get uucp running (ppp would be nice but its not important).

i have been looking at using a package called mgetty+sendfax, the fax side
doesn't interst me much, its the damnable setops that i need to organise beofre
i actually get to configuring mgetty and placing the enty into /etc/ttys (i
think).
