 AM> You need to type ATS0=2 (2 being the number of rings before the modem
 AM> answers), you shouldn't need to change any S registers. Use the
 AM> factory defaults AT&F.

Not if he's going to play modem games or run a BBS where the software has
to answer the modem by detecting the RING literal and sending ATA to the
modem.
