Hi Tony, thanks your for reply.

I'm pretty sure it isn't the Fossil driver, because its the modem that
¨doesn't even acknowledgement the RING (the AA light doesn't flash), so it
¨isn't even getting to the FOssil driver.

The version of the firmware is V1.450-V34_DS-0.73.

The other suggestion you had of putting the init string in the batch file
and ¨just AT in FDsetup. The problem I can see is that even after a certain
period ¨of time of no one connecting to it, it is bound to fall asleep
again. Its ¨fine until no one calls for about 30 minutes (or onwards), and
then it just ¨doesn't pick up any calls. Duringthe time no one is calling,
of course no ¨strings are being sent to the modem. Another thing I could do
is set up a ¨batch file to send an init string every 5 minutes (while no
one is online) ¨which might keep it awake.
