What you recall is very likely what I was referring to in my post. Round
robin testing started " years ago", but somehow disappeared from
the public attention (list).
Author assured us that all is going well but preliminary results I was
interested in , will not be published in order not to influence ongoing
testing ( certainly a valid reasoning).

I am not aware what form for test results have been required but I suppose that after
entered into a Sixtests or equivalent data reduction program all individual tests
should produce ROC, graph of the surface deviation, some RMS,  Strehl or
similar measure of the surface quality. What will be of interest is
dispersion of
the results. I doubt  that a role of individual factors leading to
dispersion can  ever
be deduced.
