John,
I am not sure about the polarizing filter, but I expect it will greatly
inhance the viewing. I have a moon filter purchased from orion and it is
great when nearing a full moon, way easier on the eye, and much more detail
when viewing.. I like it so much, i dont view the moon without it, unless
it is a quarter or less.
Anything that cuts the glare down is a definite improvement, IMO.
