PC> If dental health is , as they say connected to ill health, then PC> doing the dental would save a lot the other way with medical needs PC> they are lining up for now. Of course with all these PC> freebies....there is abuse. AI>If it was part of universal health care there wouldn't be any abuse. It's part of universal health care in England, and universally bad.. an international joke. We spend about $4500 per person on healthcare now. Add dental and that would probably go up a noticable amount so you'd best be ready for even higher taxes. Also keep in mind that any cost 'per person' is probably close to doubled if you want to use cost 'per tax payer' instead.. Lots of people too young or too poor or not working in a taxable situation (i.e.. stay at home parents?) who don't pay any taxes. Dental may be a health factor but it would have to save them a Pile of money for them to consider it. Look at eye exams.. Dozens of people who don't know they have a problem but refuse to pay the $80 or so for an annual eye exam now that it's not covered will probably end up blind and costing the system a good deal of money (ignoring the 'human' factor) but not costing the system Enough money for them to cover eye tests.. --- * SLMR Rob * Experience is wonderful experience * * PDQWK 2.52 #17 --- GTMail 1.26* Origin: Capitol City Online * 502/875-8938 * cco.ath.cx (1:2320/105.0) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 34/999 120/228 123/500 140/1 222/2 226/0 249/303 250/306 SEEN-BY: 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/260 267 285 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 SEEN-BY: 2320/105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 2320/105 261/38 633/260 267 |
