I would advise you to telephone willmann-bell. Their prices f0or glass,
pitch, abrasives, kits and such are quite reasonable, and their service and
delivery are incomparably good. Most of their orders cost exactly 8 bits
($1) for the entire order. But none of that type of stuff is on their
website, so you have to call them.
I have no personal interest in them, just a very satisfied customer. they
are at willbell.com where you can find their phone #.

Subject: ATM Glass source

I am getting motivated to start another project and wondering if there are
any new sources for blanks these days.

I am looking for 4 1/4" Pyrex mirror and plate tool pre-generated to
F4 and have prices from Newport. Should I look elsewhere?

My project is a small Newt astrograph set up for CCD imaging. I already
have one but a friend fell in love with it and wants a clone.

Thanks,

js
