the situation is that some systems clean their areas lists more often than
others... many do not coorelate the echolist with their local lists,
either... some of the major "backbone" systems clean their lists
only after some 12 months have passed...

the main thought is that not everyone cleans their lists on the same
schedule... i surely don't ;)
