No address at the moment. Seen some H&R ads in Guns and Ammo recently.
Harrington and Richardson manufactured the 949 from 1970 to 1985. The
description isn't completely clear, but it may be that simply opening the
loading gate will release the cylinder - in one direction only. Much like
the current Ruger single-actions.
My reference indicates that even in Excellent condition it would only be
worth $125. Oh, and yes it takes .22 LR. As a revolver it probably also
takes .22 Long or .22 Short without difficulty, but not .22 Magnum (WMR).
