Ahh, now I understand what you were trying to say in your last message to me.
This puzzled me because it is not true.
I suppose that it might be the case that they swap the motherboard on the
modems with the old revision datapump, but not for the new 05BA datapump.
All they do is solder two eeproms next to the existing ones.
At least that is what they did for my modem, and that is exactly what they
said they would do.
The two eeproms stick out because they have white stickers on the top with
Netcomm 96 or something similar.
The original M34F motherboard is still there with no other changes as far
as I can see.
