| subject: | ATM Mirror cell.. need some help |

Hello All,
I have begun making a 9 point cell, here is what I have so
far, the tailgate, consisting of a 13.5" disk of 3/4" plywood, the
disk the mirror will set on is 11", (inside tube diameter is 11.5")
I have three springs (automotive rear brakes) with holders on both
ends,at a radius of 4", offset by 120 degrees to where the triangles
will be placed.
this setup seems to work good, the springs work well, and it does
adjust easily with a wrench, I can see no problems with this setup so
far, unless I am missing something. Now to figure out the triangle size and
placements, anyone good with
plop? I remember now why I went with 6 blobs of silicone last time
around.
So I seek some help and guidiance please. Could someone more knowledgeable
with the plop program or another
tell me what
the numbers are for 9 point cell triangle sizes and placements?
The mirror dimensions are....
250mm, or 10" optical diameter,
22.225mm, or .875" mirror thickness 1524mm or 60" focal lenght
49.5mm or 1.95" secondary size
fixed angles, optimise off.
I can make it to here but the numbers in the part dimensions is a
blurr, i do not understand, help please. All help appreciated
Rick
