I had a TDE on my 8"f/3.8 and someone on the list told me about a
technique to get rid of it. This is what I did, with TOT push the tool out
from the center with a very short stroke with pressure in the center of the
tool and then pull back to COC with no pressure. For my 8" I only
pushed the tool about a 1/4" over the edge of the mirror, I did this 6
times around and then tested and sure enough the diffraction ring was
starting to make an appearence. I had tried every thing I knew to get the
edge back and this is the only thing that helped me.
