-> There's a difference between Platform and True 3D. Platform means
-> that you can't go anywhere you want, and Ture 3D means that you can.
-> Tomb Raider series are good examples. You can go anywhere you
-> want. No pits with
-> no bottom and invisble walls. Mario 64 does have this, hence being
-> called an
-> Action/Platform. Tomb Raider isn't Platform. Mario is.
waaaaaiit a sec, I just want to gripe about one thing. i have seen
botomless pits in tomb raider, and even in the 2nd. Really though,
it's hard to compare the two games. I mean, tomb raider is a more kill
kill kill fest, while mario leans more torwards thought-oriented action.
(oh and by the way, if tomb raider is true 3d, how come i can't exit
the level and just go back to the house, eh? my friend thinks i'm
insane because i like the practice level more than the game. who
knows, mabye i am. really though, i could enjoy a game that just let
you move around the house, looking for secrets and things to do. Tomb
raider 3:back to the house anyone?) :)
