*** Quoting Thom LaCosta from a message to Sean Dennis *** TL> Exercise is very important....I spent 2 hours today doing some heavy TL> lifting, moving....worked up a real good sweat....and When I checked TL> the ole sugar levels at noon...I was at 104..... Have You guys ever experienced this... Lets say I take my BS in the morning. I am at a ( this is when I was higher yet it was normal for me, nothings changed but maybe numbers are a bit lower now ) 168 when get up. I take my shots, I go out and briskly walk 2 miles come home, shower up and for the heckuvit check my sugars again. I am up to 201... Now I did not eat, and it's a good hour and a half later. Insulin is taken and no food. I am way up... Only thing that made me feel a bit better is lets say after eating at luch time, my level would be respectable, like a 110 or something. Why does the BS go up with no food.. Has anyone else noticed this? I don't think my doc believes me when I tell him. He just says I have too much stress in my life.. Thats a cop out I think, but have not talked to any diabetics to see if they may have noticed the same thing. Most tell me they exercise and BS immediately come down. Not for me 8( Mike ... If I were rich my butler would answer my mail. --- Telegard v3.09.g2-sp4/mL* Origin: :The Holodeck BBS: telnet://holodeckbbs.homeip.net (1:261/1381) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 18/200 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/187 132/500 140/1 222/2 SEEN-BY: 226/0 236/150 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1411 SEEN-BY: 261/1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 393/68 396/45 633/260 267 690/682 SEEN-BY: 712/848 800/432 2320/100 105 200 5030/1256 @PATH: 261/1381 38 633/260 267 |
