Bugger!!!
        While grinding nicely at 500 grit for 20 minutes or so, I got cocky. I
walked away from the machine to do something leaving it grinding. (I know,
I know!!) I heard a banging which I thought was the wife bashing on the
shed walls telling me tea was on the table. Naturally, I ignored her for a
while as I was engrossed in reading a page in my latest Sky and Telescope.
Realising she was persisting, I told her to knock it off. When she replied
from the house, "Knock what off?" I remembered I had the machine
grinding away. Turning to face it I saw the arm in the air with the tool
vacuum locked to the blank. Any suggestions to unlock them that don't
require smashing it in disgust at myself? ;-)
